The Escape To the End of World - the Paradise
It sound fantastic when someone begin my blog with this title, isn't it?
CL: Ya, it is pretty cool.
Where is the place you went to?
CL: Some where in the East of Malaysia. Anyway, I will keep it as secret, why? It is simply because, I am too stingy to share. Ya I think so. (But, for those who are lucky enough, knew where I went to)
(P/S : Want to know where I went to? Check out the pictures, if you are "sensitive" enough, you will know where it is)
Why you are so stingy?
CL: Recently, it is always come to my mind that all the nice places will be destroyed when it get know by people, Malaysian especially. For the typical example, the marine park of
Who you went with, CL - the stingy guy that is loving the environment so much???
CL: My friends - Guan Kun and Phei Ling
How much it cost you?
CL: RM350- 400 for the whole trip. (The Secret Island + Kuala Terengganu)
What is the special things in the secret island?
CL:There is nothing special besides the nice and unpolluted beaches. (From my naked eyes, there is no pollution. Er, maybe I have to make sure it by testing the sea water in chemistry lab, haha)
(P/S: My friend, PL was having "culture shock" when she was first day in the island. She can't manage herself with the easy and relax lifestyle once we reached the island in the first day. She is a busy person, where her schedule always packed until she have only some rest time in the night. Pity at her.)
CL: We just done what people done when they are on the island. Like resting (RM 0), swimming (RM 0) , lie on the beach (RM 0), reading (RM 0), watching tv (RM 0 - HBO, StarMovie, Cinemax, Pirates of the Carribean 3 - provided by the owner of the resort) , jungle trekking (RM 0) and snorkeling (RM 15 - equipments of snorkeling).
CL: 1) Life here is very relaxing and considered as isolated. So it is a nice place for those who wish to have an escape from her/his boring and repeatedly daily life).
2) You just need to pay RM50/room/night.
3) The people here are so nice and friendly. They are so helpful and hospitality!
(The Picture besides showing Abang Za, a nice guy who chat a lot with us and offer himself to guide us to the snorkeling spot, his long hair and warmest smile will always kept in my mind)
What is the poor things on the island?
CL: 1) No electricity supply from 7am-7pm. (Only one resort on the island operate with 24hours electricity supply) (For me, it is a good idea, I am okay with this, as this is a good way to conserve the environment - reduce the usage of electricity. How about you? Can you get use to it?)
2) Mosquitoes (The big enemies in the island! They will attack you in the morning and evening, even you have apply the mosquito repellent)
3) The food and beverages are very expensive here! (RM 4 for a glass of Milo Ice, RM 6 for a simple fried noodle) (But it may be understandable, as the resorts need to import all the stuffs from land)
So, what are waiting for? Looking for an escape? Just free yourself and travel to an island in Malaysia! (Since this year in Visit Malaysia Year!)
